Count electrical components or other small parts with digital counting scales which take account of inventory with little effort.  There are a number of models to choose from with varying capacities and resolutions.  The smaller the part is that you need to enumerate, the lower the maximum capacity of the scale is typically going to be.  Always choose the highest resolution possible for better accuracy.
